DR. FEELGOOD

Founded in 1970 on Canvey Island, Essex, Dr. Feelgood is still one of the world's best-known and most exciting live bands of early rhythm & blues. Their raw, earthy sound and uncompromising live performance make every concert an experience.

It is no coincidence that Dr. Feelgood were able to unite fans of all persuasions from punk to rock'n'roll with their album "Stupidity" after their No.1 success in the U.K. charts. Further success with single releases followed with songs such as Roxette, Back in the Night, Milk and Alcohol, Down at the Doctors, She Does it Right, Going Back Home. Their version of See You Later Alligator even achieved gold status!

The current line-up of the band has been on stage together for over 30 years. For this year's tour, Kevin Morris on drums, Phil Mitchell on bass, Gordon Russell on guitar and singer Robert Kane (formerly of The Animals) will be joining us from the island. The band is and remains a guarantee for an energetic and captivating live show!

In the bag: the new album "Greatest Hits" (April 2021). The last album with original singer Lee Brilleaux, "Down At The Doctors", was recorded live in the Dr.Feelgood Music Bar on Canvey Island (now the Oysterfleet Hotel) two months before his death. With "Chessmasters" (2000) and "Speeding Thru Europe" (2003), Dr.Feelgood released recordings in the current formation, with which the band plays extensive tours worldwide year after year. The most recent releases are "Greatest Hits" (April 2021) and "Damn Right!" (November 2022).
