Seit nunmehr drei Jahrzehnten hat sich Gitarrist & Sänger Randy Hansen einen Ruf als einen der weltbesten Hendrix-Tributes erarbeitet.

Er hat im Laufe der Jahre unzählige Alben veröffentlicht, die sowohl herausragende Hendrix-Jams & Songs als auch sein eigenes authentisches, von Hendrix inspiriertes Riffing enthalten.

In a sea of Hendrix-inspired guitarists, Randy Hansen stands out and is one of the few guitarists officially recognized by the Hendrix family.

Having toured and performed with artists such as Uli Jon Roth, Jack Bruce, Paul Rodgers, Mitch Mitchell, and Buddy Miles, Hansen pays true homage to the “Father of Heavy Guitar” (Jimi Hendrix) and, with his unbridled passion, creates sonic landscapes infused with the spirit of Jimi Hendrix.

Randy Hansen is a consummate performer with incredible depth, mesmerizing fans with his explosive show. Through years of hard work and tirelessly perfecting 'his craft', he has earned the reputation of a world-class guitar hero.

Hansen was hired by acclaimed film director Francis Ford Coppola to contribute to the soundtrack of “Apocalypse Now”, the 1980 Oscar winner for Best Sound. The film led to a recording contract with Capitol Records.

Today Hansen tours worldwide due to the continuing demand from fans in America and Europe. Be it with the Randy Hansen Band or in collaboration with other entertainers such as Steve Miller, Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company, The Firm, Queen), Buddy Miles, Don Wilson (The Ventures), Alan White (YES, John Lennon), Sammy Hagar, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robert Cray, Roger Fisher (Heart), Bob Segar and Hendrix alumni Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell, to name just a few of the artists he has collaborated with.
