20th Anniversary Edition

At Ruf Records, one milestone follows another: just recently, the internationally renowned blues/rock label celebrated its 30th anniversary in style, and now it's the turn of its popular live revue Blues Caravan. In 2026, the show will embark on its 20th world tour. The list of artists who made their big career breakthrough with Blues Caravan is as long as it is impressive. It includes Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish, Aynsley Lister, and Joanne Shaw Taylor, to name just a few.

The three headliners of the anniversary edition, who are now following in their footsteps, embody an exciting mix of experience, great emotion, and youthful freshness.

The Laura Chavez ist sicherlich die Bekannteste im Bunde. Die begnadete Gitarristin war viele Jahre lang die treibende Kraft in der Band der Sängerin Candye Kane (Blues Caravan 2005 & 2008) und hat unzählige Konzerte an der Seite von Nikki Hill, Vanessa Collier und Rock-’n’-Roll-Legende Mitch Ryder gespielt. Chavez weiß mit ihrer songdienlichen Rhythmusgitarre und ihren mitreißenden E-Gitarrensoli jedes Publikum zu begeistern. Ihr exzellenter Ruf in der Szene wurde endgültig bestätigt, als sie 2023 den Blues Music Award als „Best Instrumentalist – Guitar“ gewann – als erste Gitarristin überhaupt. Chavez wird im Rahmen des Blues Caravan zum ersten Mal als Solokünstlerin auf der Bühne stehen.

Matthew Curry is a real insider tip for anyone familiar with the blues and rock scene. The American has been performing on stages across North America for over a decade, thrilling audiences with his unmistakable sound that blends blues, rock, and Americana. He has shared the stage with true greats such as Peter Frampton, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers, and Blackberry Smoke.

The newest member of the group is French singer Elise Frank. As the frontwoman of the band FRANK, which was founded in 2021, she has already performed at renowned music festivals such as the Cognac Blues Passions Festival and the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival. Her performances on the upcoming Caravan Tour are eagerly anticipated.

Even after 20 years and hundreds of shows, the tried-and-tested concept of the Blues Caravan remains unchanged. First, each of the three headliners plays a complete live set, before they all come together at the end for an exciting jam session.
